About the PGTA
The Progressive Gardening Trade Association (PGTA) is a non-profit, membership governed trade association founded to represent its members and promote the use of eco-friendly gardening methods. The PGTA serves over 120 environmentally-conscious members including retailers, distributors, manufacturers, industry publications, and consultants.
The PGTA's mission is straightforward: to promote progressive gardening methods for the home garden that provide for maximum yields and efficiency while reducing environmental impacts.
In addition, the PGTA strives to:
- Develop educational programs for retailers that foster industry promotion.
- Promote the beneficial aspects of plant care and home food production through consumer education and awareness.
